Nothing wrong with being concerned. But, concerned about what? Anyone who is living in realism knows this team should not win nine plus games.

The things they lacked have been observed by the majority of the non lunatic fraction of our fan base.

Worley will never be a Heisman candidate. Depth is not good. For once, we have what appears to be guys who know how to actually recruit and run a program.

The things that concern us now should've been a concern before CBJ was even hired.

If we don't win 7 plus games, my opinion will not change on the issues we have brought up. It is because of these issues and several more why this team doing any better than the 5-6 win expectations most of us have, would be one of the best coaching jobs ever.

I have said all along that I just want us to look like a real football team with warm up thru the end of the game. To keep competing regardless of the score because that should be the true character of a player or person who will be successful.

It appears we are on that track. Not saying it is you. But some on this site just seem to want to piss and moan about everything. I am not talking about Bruin either. He does have some positive things to say from time to time. However, at times his motivation just seems to be along the lines of wanting to argue just for the sake of it.

The posters who just want to say ONLY negative things are just as bad if not worse than the ones who are ONLY positive.

I know this was too long but some just need to quit bringing their horrible attitude toward TN football here on such a consistent basis. Football is fun and we love it but life is so much better. These same folks will be on here like dawg fans when we are competing for championships and winning 10 games and wanting this staff fired. Heard it during all the years I lived in Knoxville in the 90's and it is just plain dumb.

Great post, I don't disagree with anything in here. My point (or at least one of them), and perhaps I was unclear on this so I apologize, is don't lump those of us who bring counter point responses, in a group or stereotype.

I'm all for discussing the upward trends with the program, and do so on a regular basis, it's cathartic on so many levels, and, for the first time in a LONG TIME, there's a legitimate feeling that it actually IS on the uptick...but I think we're likely 2 full seasons away from really seeing big change.

If CBJ continues to recruit the way he is, and by the looks of the '15 class there's a real chance it could be better than our already STELLAR '14 class, I think that we're contending with the big boys in the East by '15.

In the meantime, we have serious issues which will be addressed but the likelihood that they'll be remedied this year is unlikely...and Worley is by far my biggest concern.

He looks much more comfortable than Peterman but he threw behind receivers consistently and his arm isn't weak but it's not conducive for the long ball--those two combined...not good.

That said, he's surprisingly good with the read option and has better wheels than I thought. If he can develop that into a strength, it can mitigate his weaknesses. I'm hopeful but not confident.

Really wish we could've seen Fergie on Saturday...

I watched a couple replays and thought he read them. That one he got blown up on I think he read wrong. I definitely agree with you on Peterman. The way Jimmy said it just didn't sit well. I don't know.

He missed more than he got right. The long TD by Neal was a bad read, AP just took a ton of awful angles and Neal is really fast. It's just game1 of the new offense, tho, and that OL will cover up a lot of miss reads.

Jimmy Hyams just said he thinks Worley is going to zone read off of a pre-determined run as opposed to actually readng the zone. His reasoning is because Peterman is more athletic as Worley so Peterman would read the zone. Anybody agree with that?

I think Worley said in the press conference that sometimes it's a predetermined run and he hands off and other times it is his call. So I guess I disagree with Jimmy if I heard it correctly.

Nothing for you to apologize for. I stated in the post something along the lines of not saying you when writing the posts.

I am going to wait on judging Worley until a few more games. He should be getting the majority of the reps now so I hope timing is better. Still doesn't change what I believe we both agree on. It is going to take some time.

You are not part of the ultra negative fan base that is always negative and act like lunatics. Most of those are in the FF. Let's hope we have no key injuries that can't be overcome and a little luck and get this thing started in the right direction.
