You think other teams don't develop? Can't stand how some people act as if Saban just will out coach anyone. If they lose to aTm what will be the excuse this year.

Never understood this either.

"Give him a month and he wins." That just doesn't make sense to me.

Florida is undisciplined too. All teams can't be as clean as UT. :)

But UGA looks good and Langley looked good TriCitie. Looked better than Swann to me. You guys act as if they faced a garbage team. Clemson would've beat Bama yesterday. And it wouldn't have been close.[/QUOTE]

Did he really say that?! Not sure if serious.

Bama's D would have not had the big play break downs that UGA's leaky as a sieve's D did. Their running game is every bit as good as UGA's as well as their QB play. Their WR play is better.

What game did you watch? I would take UGA versus Bama in a matchup right now. Gurley would go for 200 easy. Take Bama off that media pedestal you have them on. The got saved by a kid from around the corner (Chris Jones). Bama had all of 200 yards of total offense versus a decimated Vtech team.

Well considering he's 12-1 at Bama when given more than 3 weeks to prepare, I'd say it's accurate

If you gave David Shaw and Nick Saban two equally talented teams and a month to prepare, David Shaw wins.

People use it as an excuse. Saban is an amazing coach, but he's beatable. His teams are just uber talented, and that's also due to Saban, but I'm speaking from a strictly coaching stand point.

another ftr: I'll take Tiny Richardson over Cyrus Kouandjio any day of the week and twice on Saturday.

Agree. I was thinking about what was posted earlier about Marcus Jackson possibly redshirting and couldn't help but to think how huge it would be if Tiny actually stays for his Sr year. Tiny loves UT so much and is so loved by VolNation that I honestly think it would be up there with PM returning for his Sr year. I know the team expectations if he did wouldn't be like when PM stayed but how much better would we feel about our Oline going into next year with Tiny and Jackson on that left side as opposed to without him?

Just imagine Hurd and Paulk coming in to go along with Lane as a Sr running behind Tiny as a Sr All American who's on a mission to get us back to the top next to Jackson, Crowder, etc. If he stayed for his last year he could possibly be the difference between a 6 win team and a 8+ win team. Guys like him that truly love UT and bleed orange like he does don't come along very often. He's a special player on and off the field. I doubt it'll happen but I've got my fingers crossed. He'll always be special to Vol fans regardless but if he stayed he'd be a legend like PM, Al Wilson, etc, imo.

What happens to Richt if Georgia finishes third or fourth in the east this year?

With their defense and OLine issues I think it could happen.

A dawg friend of mine said on the radio fans were calling wanting him fired right now.

Hopefully, they will hire a Dooley if they do it.

Where you been the last 5 years? Plenty of proof you are wrong here

Is he out coaching or using more talent? In close games his teams have only recently started to finish well. Saban's squads are front runners in general. When put behind or if they are in a close game they will frog up. I like Sumlin as a head coach a bit more. Give him and Saban the same amount of time and see what happens.

UGA doesn't have the line for that and unless we have injuries in the front 7 I doubt we will let anyone run rough shod on us like that.

Our weakness is CB not D-line

I know it was APSU, but our DL, especially McCullers, looked fantastic last night. Maybe I'mjust comparing to last year, but it was vvery encouraging. CBs didn't look great.

I don't think this totally implausible. I also don't think its probable, but (queue Jim Carrey gif) there is a chance.

Negative. He looks good running the ball because of the zone read. When you make the right read, there is no one there to make the play. That's why you don't need an amazingly athletic qb to run this.

He's better than people have said all summer, but far from a DT. He's mobile enough to get yards when they're there. Needs to slide though.
