Truthfully based on Week 1 I feel LSU, UGA, and aTm(sort of a tie but their offense is nasty) are better teams than Bama.
I'd agree with that as well.
Mettenberger (sp?) looked good last night for LSU, imo. He calmly converted a lot of key 3rd down situations. Also, #3 for LSU (can't think of his name) is a player. Dude is so fast it's ridiculous
Lmao y'all act like bama sucks now and has no players? Bama knew they could wake up out bed and beat va tech. You honestly don't think Saban would have his team much more ready to play a top 10 team on road than a Va Tech team on a down fall?
Lol Clemson "mixes it up". So I guess you're under the impression that we will only run the read option 80 plays per game. And that our staff will call absolutely no other plays?
Sorry, haven't been able to get on. I see y'all misunderstood me.
I'm under the impression that, to run the ball, UT will primarily use the read option. Not going under center, no power I, any of that. Obviously, I may be wrong, but that's what it appears to me seeing practice highlights and such.
I don't think that works well in the SEC. Feel free to disagree, but Worley is no threat to run the ball consistently, like Boyd can, even if they do sell out for Neal/Lane.
1 do you even know what the power I is? Because its not a base offensive set for anyone except Gatlinburg Pitman.
2 it's worked for South Carolina. For about 5 years now they've been a zone read team.
3. Clemson is almost never under center.
