I come away from the weekend thinking the WKU game will possibly be a little harder than I thought (I expected Kentucky to beat them). But I still would be very surprised if we lost.

Our defense isn't perfect, but it's much improved. I doubt we give up 450+ yards to them. Plus, I got a sense our OL is ready to take over games when they need to. Kentucky ran the ball well on WKU (216 yards). I think we may put up 300 yards on the ground again and control the clock when needed.

I think we win by 2 TDs or more by the time it's over.

i agree on wku - our D vs Petrino really scares me but we should be able to control the game with the run game and keep them off the field - hopefully that will keep them from getting in a rhythm

Ron any video of C Webb at the game yesterday. One of my favorite Vols of all time.Career cut way to short.

Just now getting to watch the Butch Jones show. Croom absolutely manhandled the db to set the edge on Neal's long td run and actually ended up blocking two guys. That's also what we're gonna need from these young Wr's for our running game to be as good as we're hoping. That was nice to see.

What happens to Richt if Georgia finishes third or fourth in the east this year?

With their defense and OLine issues I think it could happen.

I have been saying for a while now that the trend with Georgia over the last few years has been eerily similar to Fulmer's last years. The only difference is that Georgia has still been pulling in very good recruiting classes. I believe we will know a lot in the next few weeks when they play LSU and SC. If they lose both of those games, then come to Knoxville, I would love to see us put the final nail in his coffin and beat them.

Don't know what you guys looked at with UGA. They played a very good Clemson team in Death Valley. Gurley was hurt most of the game with a thigh bruise. They still looked better than any other SEC team I watched outside of maybe LSU. But UGA looks good and that defense will only improve. They are very young but probably won't face a better offense all year.

UGA will finish up as top 10 team. They are on the verge of greatness but can't ever seem to win the critical games.

They were banged up yesterday or I feel they would've out scored Clemson. Whenever they ran to the edge especially with Gurley it was over.

I saw the same undisciplined elite talented team they always have. They will always make an undisciplined play or penalty that keeps them from achieving what they are capable of. Lets face it Richt doesn't demand the discipline it takes to be elite day in and day out.

Florida is undisciplined too. All teams can't be as clean as UT. :)

But UGA looks good and Langley looked good TriCitie. Looked better than Swann to me. You guys act as if they faced a garbage team. Clemson would've beat Bama yesterday. And it wouldn't have been close.

The high snap on the short fg at the end of the 3rd quarter where the holder had to just fall on the ball is a good example. Make that easy fg and the game at least goes to OT.
