Told y'all about Josh Smith.

athletically gifted. i can't wait to see him live, honestly.

if worley starts, i go back to Chaney repeating that he has faith in Worley as a rhythm thrower that can get on a roll. Our line is good enough to protect whoever is playing QB, so the WR progression, specifically more precise routes and little nuances in their routes, will be INCREDIBLY important.

I don't get the ABC grading system

Here's how I see us ranking in the SEC (including OOC games)

Rushing offense 5th (Improved from #8 in 2012)
Passing offense 9th (Drop from #2 in 2012)
Scoring offense 6th (Drop from #4 in 2012)
Rushing defense 6th (Improved from #13 in 2012)
Passing defense 10th (Improved from #13 in 2012)
Scoring defense 8th (Improved from #14 in 2012)
Turnover Margin 5th (Improved from #12 in 2012)

I see us as being better running the ball but we won't score as many points as last year. On defense I see us better across the board. All this is jmo.

I really think it's absolutely impossible for our defense to not improve those rankings. Thanks Sal!

Future is definitely bright again at WR. Just need one of the QB's to win the job.

And not by default. Part of me wishes he would go with one of the three freshmen because they're clearly more talented than Peterman...if he was worthy of the starting job he would have already been named QB.

Seems pretty legit to me. Nice work

Do you mean Worley instead of Peterman?

I've said this before and i'll say it again, because it is worth repeating. It is my opinion, and I will not change my point of view, regardless of how much someone might feel it necessary to argue with me about it.............

the Devil you say :)

Butch just said that we may start 2 true freshmen WRs against Austin Peay. Likely North and Smith.

But but but Smith was supposed to be a sorry white boy WR with no talent accdg to this board.

I expect Jenkins to make lots of plays this year as well. Missing that first summer semester really put him behind others in this class but he will catch up

Man once this thread got stickied the amount of posts has shot up. It's getting hard to keep with lol. Maybe there is more discussion since the season is here?

Interesting, USC doesn't have a starting QB either. Lets see that's Arizona, Oklahoma, Tcu, OK State,USC and Tennessee. In Butch I Trust.

We've seen how some players have trouble getting playing time under some coaches, and then they magically "improve" under other coaches. Dontavious Sapp comes to mind as a current example.

I wonder how much the "Azzani effect" has contributed to which receivers are doing well and which aren't. Would we have different starters under Hinshaw?

OCI ... You been hangin' out with LV and Chavis again? The recent negativity is unbecoming. :)
