Two points
1) I saw it but was too lazy to go back and change it as it was not pertinent to the discusion
2) I did not insult anyone's intelligence.

I would bet if what I posted was something that you agreed with or was blasting a Bammer or Gator, you probably would not have felt the need to correct me.

I apologize for derailing the thread.

Arrogance with no basis offends me, but I am not going to change certain posters' minds so I will cease the attempt.

It would not be wise to underestimate Butch Jones' understanding of football and recruiting. I hope our opponents do. I hope our fans keep the faith to the benefit of the program.

Just said on 104.5 that vandy wr Chris Boyd indicted for involvement in the rape incident. I didn't hear what he was charged with. They(on 104.5) keep saying vandy has the best wr duo in the sec, maybe the country with Boyd and other guy(can't think of his name). Would be big blow if they lost him.

Also, other wr name is Mathews

This is turning into a huge mess for Franklin, has Vandy ever been slapped hard for a scandal like this? All these kids deserve punishment and to do hard time (if all allegations are true)--Vandy's getting a big black eye for sure.

I agree, I don't think the sec has any idea what's coming from UT under Butch. I hope our opponents think we're still the UT of the last few years when they line up vs us bc they're in for a surprise, imo.

I really think we're gonna see a well coached team and see just how much difference coaching can make. I don't see Butch and this staff making all the in game coaching blunders and non adjustments. I see this staff being very well prepared and having a plan for whatever may happen during the game.

Very curious how focused that Vandy team will be for the Ole Miss game. If they drop that one, I think the bottom could start to fall out from under them. They have a tough schedule and they are losing some important players...

Some programs would rally as a "team" and have a great season. Seeing as we are talking about VU, however, I see an epic collapse this year. Guess we will see what their coaching staff is made of this season.

I think Ole Miss would have whooped them anyways. Ole Miss has most of their offense back. Continuity is there. The defense will be above average. I like Ole Miss' team this year. Good skill players and highly touted FR can emerge.

With Carta-Samuels and Boyd possibly suspended... It could get ugly.

I put "possibly" because nothing is for sure at this point. You're right, his name has been brought up. I thought, like Boyd, he was facing charges as well.

I've been finding myself surprisingly excited about that game. First week of college football and a good chance to see Vandy fall flat on its face.
