Ga Halloween game with black jerseys was the best we have played in 10 years. Every kid on that team was fired up and played harder, simply because of the jerseys and the raucous crowd that was energized. To deny that is ridiculous. I
And to those that don't understand anything can help or hurt with recruiting, the guy that chose a school and passed on others because of a chik fil e on campus says hello.
I couldn't remember, but SC sounds right. The either/or stance of it helping win games or not isn't a solid stance, imo. We aren't going to win championships because we have cooler jerseys, but they can be a factor with some recruits and how they look at UT (see Butch's phone blowing up from prospects yesterday), and bringing out a jersey as was done in that SC game can give a team and fanbase a little mojo and football is about mojo, especially when the team plays with a boost of energy and confidence and home field is actually an advantage due to the added excitement.
Nobody at that game can deny the atmosphere and energy.
I was at the game. It wasn't a sell out, but outside of the first half of the FL game last year, it was the loudest I'd heard Neyland since the '04 FL game.
