We didn't steal the picture or take it ourselves so yes. We have comments from Butch and Dave Hart in the story about the uniforms.
This is a story we have been working and digging on for months. We have been on campus this morning working on the final details of the story and were very respectful of the players waiting to post anything till after the uniforms were unveiled to all of them in a team meeting.
did y'all have to get permission from UTAD to release the pic?

As many of you have noticed, Hubbs, Fortenberry, and Price have really been on their game since Butch Jones arrived. Their info is second to none. While their info was pretty good under Dooley, they seemed to lag behind and not be in the loop as much. I found out why that has changed. My only connection to any inside info was on Dooley's staff his last year, and last night we talked. He told me that Dooley was very secretive and did not want any media leaking any information because he wanted total control over everything. Dooley did not understand the social media/marketing to the fanbase. Some younger members of the staff did not agree with this and leaked some info. Dooley never figured out who was doing it but frequently referenced the need for it to stop in staff meetings (it seems like his focus was often on the wrong things).
On the other hand, Butch Jones fully understands the need to energize and engage the fanbase. Having VQ as his media outlet is a tool he seems to be fully utilizing. If you have ever questioned the validity of their info (as I did under the previous staff), I can assure you they 100% know what is going on now and they are mouth pieces for the new coaching staff. As a result, their content and info is worth a subscription. Now, their forum is terrible and the posters over there generally aren't very good, but that's what VN is for.
Catching the football is second nature
Its why guys snag 500+ balls a day from the juggs machine. There is no excuse for drops at this level. Esp "focusing on technique and route running"
Every WR does that
You cant catchas a WR, next man up.
"I'm in the inside now," he said. "I play the 'A' position."
"It's not hard because we have to know every position," he said Wednesday morning.
"Just being a big receiver, more athletic, I just come in for the tight end or something, to be, I guess, a bigger slot receiver," Croom said.
"It was something the coaches, they came to me with it," he added later. "I just took it on because it wasn't a hard transition, I knew what to do."
Yeah the staff touched on this a few days ago in the interviews after practice. They said something like "slot guys either need to run past and around linebackers and safeties or through them". LolCroom plays in the slot now...
