'14 CA CB Adoree' Jackson (Signed with USC)

Is it Muschamp's plan to win the SEC with DBs?

Or are these the only good players he can get right now?

WOV, I don't always appreciate your posts, but that is a zinger and on the mark. I wish cwm did as well across the board as he does with dbs. The thing that surprises me the most is his difficulty in landing DTs even though it seems clear that he is a good defensive coach. Once again, you guys land Lambert.

Muschamp got commitments from 3 4* DT's last year. So far this year Khariri Clark is committed, another 4*. He's doing ok at DT. But, point taken....he can recruit the heck out of some DB's. What we really need are offensive lineman.

What I'm sayin is I bet you don't go to bama boards, because you can't feel like a big shot and gloat

Then again, can anyone really? If Bama wants a recruit, 9 times out of 10 they will get him. There's a difference in talking about recruits like Adoree and guys who are local players or heavy leans to certain schools. Wouldn't see us chiming in on a 5* from Knoxville who grew up loving you guys. It's just nice to discuss recruits that both of our coaches have to battle for.

I hope I'm wrong but I just get the feeling that he's going to end up at Florida. I think their track program gives them the edge. I know USC is supposedly up there but I just don't see him going there for some reason.

But speaking of USC...what's up with their recruiting class?Their ranked in the 50s on rivals. Where they not doing much better earlier in the year (like in the top 10-15)? What happened there?

Hurd, Booth, Wolf, Kelly Jr., Bates, and McDowell disagree with you.

USC's coach should be gone mid-season. Which is why I'm not worried about them here. I feel we've got our hands full with UF in this situation. But good thing is they can't say this year that he won't be surrounded by good players here.

This kid is a baller, but I think the track thing is huge for him---REALLY hope he winds up in Knoxville.

Would be HUGE to land him in Knoxville. However, I think track ultimately wins out and he ends up in Gainesville. We are definitely in the hunt though...which is refreshing to see. Just shows how this staff is doing work on the recruiting trail. The future is now and Tennessee football will be back to it's rightful spot in the upper echelon of college football...SOON. The times they are a changin'...

Though Pat Haden denies it, I am not the only person that thinks Kiffin is on a very hot seat. That means that many of the Southern California top recruits are seriously considering other Pac-12 schools. Many more are looking at the Big Ten, Big Twelve, and ACC. The better one are looking at the big stage, the SEC.

I guess karma is just catching up with Lane. He just can't back up his hype. I just wonder if Tee Martin is second guessing turning Tennessee down.

As to Jackson, though his position is not our greatest need at this stage, I still hope we can get him. If we don't, I hope Hart puts some more focus on the track program. Tennessee got the "wide receiver U" moniker in large part because of a good track team.
