No sarcasm, generally feel this should be the fans' plan of attack. To pull a player like this, in the place that we are at in our program, we will need a concentrated and concerted effort between coaches, commit-recruiters, and fan-recruiters. We are pretty much the only fan base doing this on such an expansive level this year, and we need to take full advantage and organize this extremely powerful set of recruiting tools. Social media, for the first time, can be used in a way that fans, en masse, can actually help their team by helping recruit players like Jackson. Going about it in the way listed above is going to give us a major edge in long term battles like Jackson.

We're most likely losing 2-3 to the draft in Roberson, Purifoy, and Watkins after this season anyway. Plus, we can use Jackson in a Purifoy-type role and have him switch offense/defense.

Personally think it's going to be a UF/USC battle. Track is a huge factor for him, but his parents are moving to Cali, so they might have the advantage. Regardless, none of our DBs have any effect on his recruitment.

So? My main board is on 247. We let other fans post as long as they don't troll and talk football/recruiting. I don't understand why what school you went to/root for should really matter when discussing a mutually sought-after recruit.

we do the same there just happen to be a few that can't handle it. As long as you offer info then it won't matter.

Most of us love good information from other fans, just don't be a prick and you'll be fine. And don't just post w/o giving info like UGA fans.

The mutts are far and away the worst rival posters. At least some of the florida posters are intelligent and informative.
Miamicane wins my vote for best rival poster.

If Adoree' doesn't come to UT... please please go to USC...

People on here don't like rival posters because we've had so many obnoxious trolls post on here over the last few years (and the majority of them are gators dawgs). So after a while you just don't care to see any new ones posting. There are a few examples of rival fans who are accepted and liked on here (gator dep. comes to mind) but most come on here only to troll. I'm not saying that you're one of them bc I haven't seen many I your posts. But that's why people are so quick to throw out the troll label and especially to a new gator poster.

Lurtz, I've seen you rally the troops and be active consistantly for Jackson and I'm curious... what is your connection to this kid? Do you know him / are you connected in some way? Or, do you just think he's an incredible talent and that we really want him (as do I)?

FYI - not trolling or starting something. Just genuinely want to know. Either way, I think its great and absolutely necessary in this case.
