The part you're missing us that HD sux bawlz. I only go to Lowes these days and if I have a problem, Jimmie Johnson shows up at my house to fix it.

So, you're paying them the better part of $200 bucks in order to prove a point to whom exactly?

Dood, even if you plan on permanently divorcing HD, you DO NOT pay for that repair. If you want to take the high-ground, have them ship back your broken gun and fix it yourself.

or send it back to the Manufacturer their the one's ultimately responsible for the nail gun

The manufacturer has it now as HD does not possess the skill to fix it.
I'm just done with the whole thing.
Plus I have a job coming up and need it back.

Net result is they will lose 80k a year in sales on average because of this and they don't seem to really care.

That's good because I've got another situation.

A homeowners association has filed an injunction to stop work on my job site.
We're putting a metal roof on a house and they are saying we don't have proper approval.

Is it the kind of roof that's not permitted in their restrictions or a lack of proper paperwork filing?

The restrictions are not real clear on metal roofs. There are 9 metals in the neighborhood already. We picked a roof on another house and bought the exact same roof so that shouldn't be the issue. I think there is history between the board and the homeowner. They don't like each other.
