I think Vic Warton will play corner when he comes in. Our depth there is bad. I think Payne is more nickel and we need to sign one more corner.

So what makes you think Payne can't play outside? Furthermore why would Wharton be a true CB ahead of Payne? I'm listening :)

The staff seems to want taller ranger corners and if paynes measurables are correct he's not that. That's not a knock on him, even by watching his film he looks more like a nickel corner.

My letterman friend said the opposite of Bruin's. Worley owns the job and they are developing the depth chart at QB. The only thing they want from Worley is more vocal leadership. From everything I hear Ferguson could pass Peterman if it keeps going the same direction. Which would be a surprise only to people who really don't know what is going on. Remember - alpha male is a key characteristic for a leader with Butch. Fergie's got swag and will be a born leader besides being very talented and ahead of Dobbs physically.

Much much more believable. From all of VQ's reports, I had heard/seen nothing that Worley was having trouble with turnovers and whatnot.

I much prefer your version being the truth.

"During team work in 11-on-11 settings Riley Ferguson got a few first team reps and had one very nice play in particularly where he rolled out and drilled a laser in to a tightly covered Devrin Young for a first down.

Once again the freshman wideouts were prominently featured on the first team offense. Marquez North and Josh Smith both started with the ones at wideout, along with Pig Howard.

Working with the second team in the same drill Danny O'Brien showed up on a couple of different occasions, making tough plays in the interior and building a bit on what's been a nice last few days for the redshirt freshman.

In the defensive backfield Devaun Swafford continues to make a name for himself. He had an interception during one-on-one's."

"Brent Brewer also showed up in a big way on a few occasions tonight. This morning Tommy Thigpen called Brewer his most 'vicous' linebacker when it came to engaging and discarding blockers. Brewer showed the truth of that observation tonight, dominating in one-on-one drills with the tight ends. He also had the 'hit' of the night when during pass rush drills he exploded into Neal with such force that Neal's feet left the ground."

I assumed that's what the original post meant.

Not at all what I was getting at.

I just feel if we win he played well and if we lose a game we weren't supposed to he didn't. Then a change will come

So when do you think Bray should have been benched last year?
