Tennessee is still in his 6, so our chances are still good. Looney seems like a guy that might surprise some people with where he decides to go. Stay tune.:peace2:

Not one of my sources. Supposedly from a source 'close to him'. I don't know the person.

Just read (M Live All Michigan) that he has dropped Michigan from his list and that Duke appears to be the favorite. Apparently he never actually had an actual offer from Michigan. Perhaps the person that reported this in the past couple of days meant Mich State since it looks like he dropped Michigan several days ago.

Sorry for the bad info. Just passing along what I heard. Didn't claim it to be accurate.

Lol, the number 9 player in the nation didn't have a offer from Michigan? Yeah find that hard to believe. Michigan was in it. Something had to happen and he dropped them. Before this cut happened. He had narrowed it down to 12 and Michigan was in it. Like I said I find it hard to believe Michigan didn't offer.

Info out of local Michigan news. Not my info. It's what some people say when they are dropped. Rivals shows an offer from Michigan.

What’s the appeal of Tennessee?
Tennessee, I went there and it’s a great college town. My dad’s from there and I have a great relationship with Cuonzo Martin and the whole Tennessee staff.

Okafor's AAU coach came out not too long ago and basically said Duke is the favorite. So that chance of them filling up is still possible. Right now I still think Duke then UT Michigan St and Wisconsin.

No doubt. From most articles I've read on 247, he talks about Duke more than any other school.

I'm just excited that Coach Martin is putting in work. UT's basketball has never been considered with this much talent, even during Pearl's days.

I looked into that the other day...they have 9 underclassmen on scholarship, so they can sign at least 4. They have SG Grayson Allen committed, you can go ahead and chalk up Tyus Jones & Jahlil Okafor, that leaves one spot. That's why Winslow being included in the package deal was huge, it was a wing similar to Looney, and would likely have Duke at their limit. However it no longer appears he's gonna follow Okafor and Jones, and I'm guessing that's because Duke wants a spot open for Looney.

Yea, I would agree. Unfortunately, 3-6 on that list were disappointments. Hopefully, CCM's recruits, although maybe not as highly ranked, will develop better.
