Growing up in a small town brings back memories. My grandfather (pops) would sit in his chair and listen. He was one if 15 kids and only went to school thru 5th grade. His entertainment was wking the farm every day but Sunday and Sat when the Vols were on the radio.I know he never had the chance to play as a kid. Other than my highschool and college games he never went to a game that I know of.But boy he never missed a Sat radio broadcast. All work stopped and u had to be quite and listen. Good times. My intro to Tn.football.
Good stuff! We're getting close to FB time in TN!
If you were going to put together a receiver, said Vikings coach Leslie Frazier, he would look like Cordarrelle.
This one?

I like that one alot also. But the one Iam thinking about Charlie is kinda narrating it.Talks about Why I love Tennessee Or Why I love the vols.Hes talking in it more than singing.Maybe why I came to Tennessee.I know Texans are proud of Texas but I dont think any of them are as proud as a Tennessean .God I love this state. The people in it and the Tennessee Vols.
I don't know but someone posted this on VN awhile back and I saved it. Forgot to save the author but I'm sure a VN veteran can tell us where this came from. Anyway, get ready to cry (even if you've read it)...
1. I think Williams is still a guy to watch. He did ok with the opportunities he had in spring, but didn't dominate by any means. Size is a concern and I think the athletic ability showed by the freshman matches Williams and they have more size. As Jones said the depth chart is more for people to talk about than anything else.
2. He's there battling. He has to be more consistent. He showed some flashes in the spring. I still think he will be a help to them this fall. Remember spring ws the first time he had played football in nearly two years.
3. Fugate is buried in my opinion. I like Channing. He's a good guy, but he hasn't eat, breathed, slept football since his freshman year. I don't think he's as focused on football as some others.
4. We will see on Meredith. Can he make it through a full week of practice. He hasn't since he has been at Tennessee. A.J. has caught the ball ok. How physical is he when the pads come on is the question.
I don't know what Ainge is talking about. Tennessee can host official visitors starting today. They have 56 to give from today through July 31, 2014. In fact, I think Kameel Jackson is coming in this weekend, maybe later today.
Tennessee can host unofficial visitors as well. They can't provide complimentary tickets to unofficial visitors for games for the first 2 SEC game of the season.
So they can they have unofficials for Austin Peay, Western Kentucky, and South Alabama games. They can't provide tickets to unofficial visitors for the Georgia and South Carolina game.
Hopefully that clears it up.
Apparently Ainge was saying UT couldn't host OV's for the first two SEC home games this fall. Hubbs cleared up the confusion...
would definitley pay attention to that announcement this afternoon.
Not FB but this Point Guard is announcing today and Rob Lewis says
Larry Austin - Yahoo! Sports
4star #96 player nationally. Would be a great pickup for Cuonzo.

He's quietly putting together a very solid class. Wish he could land one more super star, like Stokes or Hubbs, to top it off.
Big year for Cuonzo. He returns a good team for which there are rightfully pretty high expectations. Seems similar to 2012 for Derek Dooley. Hope Cuonzo has different results.
