Hi guys I have a rivals points question. Has anyone noticed that our newest recruits got such few points? We were at 2095 before we got Raulerson. Now we are at 2223. Here's the problem, Raulerson was worth 75, Booth 110 with bonus, and Gaulden 108 with bonus. That should put us at 2388! What gives?

They only grade the top 20 in a class. SO these new guys are only adding the difference between their points and the 3 star guy's point total they are replacing.

Rivals only counts 20 so ppl fell off on the accumulated score while others were added.

Since they give points for only top 20 players, I guess you would have to subtract the points of the players that would have been replaced. JMO

rating of classes can be good and bad. In no way is it a measure of character or of filling needs. Hypothetically you could sign the top 3 qbs, the top 7 wr and the top 10 cb and blow away other classes in ratings. Thats one way of manipulating the system yet not filling needs.

Why would they only rate the top 20 kids?? Do execs at Rivals and such feel its on them to try and level the playing field? Its all about selling as many subscriptions as possible. Keeping as many teams as possible open to making the top ten in recruit team rankings sells subscriptions.

With the new coach and facility's why would you want to be apart of anything else...The cream will rise to the top....Brick by Brick..

What has our avg rating gone up from in the past week? 3.46 about solidifies this class as a Top 10 class. I think number 6-8 is about where we land.

What does it take to jump Fl St. on 247 ranking!? I keep looking after we get a recruit and we somehow stay behind them.

Bummer. I looked back at some of our other classes where they did so I thought they still did.

Woody Quinn and Riyahd Jones were ranked by them last year but Johnathon Johnson and Johnathan Jackson were not.
