If you ever get over your divorce get back to me. You determine your reality. You have your health, your ability to make an income, many friends, hobbies and interests, a vehicle (2), and a place to live. The only thing she took from you aside from being able to see your kid 247 is your confidence.

Also my house and lots of money. I hope you never experience the realities of a divorce, but you really don't understand what occurs from what you're saying.

The entire concept of a legal marriage is bull****, imo. That's a topic for another forum, however.

I've seen it. I've seen worse than you've described too. How those people processed it seems to be a bigger indicator to future happiness than the details of the financial transactions that occurred during.

I'm not going into the full details of my divorce. It's worse than you know.

I'm a firm believer in 2 simple things. You are a good guy Voxx. Don't let the mental damage weigh you down. Prayers sent, God speed, etc.

Bad things happen to good people

Great people overcome them

This. I haven't been through a divorce, but losing a parent taught me this.

Not a knock, Voxx. Just drawing on personal experience.

I've done that too, unfortunately. DD isn't wrong on that aspect, I just think he's so blindly in love with his wife that he doesn't understand what can happen during these things.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, by the way. I'd much rather the people I know be in a happy relationship. **** stresses me out otherwise.

I said in rule one women don't really know what they want. If you find them confused you've already given them too many options.

No kids. She just seems to be moving real fast one day, then backs the **** off the next.

I could tell you my wife's story as a kid. How her mom left, step mom was an evil witch. They told her that her mom didn't want her and then when she acted out at 14 magically shipped her to a woman that she hadn't seen since a toddler. Her mom is an alcoholic. Her dad once got his house foreclosed on and didn't even tell her he had moved. He also bounced our wedding check. My wife is a great woman. She embraces love because she knows what the alternatives are.
Bad situations are just that, they are not your future.
