I'm finishing my associates in culinary arts that I started back before my mom passed away. I don't really have a plan that will require it, I just want to finish it.

Provide them with a link to this thread. They will in turn grant you an honorary Master's degree for the advancement of the culinary arts in America.

I'm good man. Better than some and worse than others but trying to survive. Is it difficult having more knowledge on what you're studying sometimes than maybe what the people teaching might have?

Haha. I don't have more knowledge than they do. I had about 17 years experience in the industry and worked with some really accomplished chef's, I also just have the "gift" and passion for it which is good and bad.

The pastry chef hates mean, seriously. Feelings are mutual. I don't do measurements. Sometimes my pastries are better than his and he calls them "extraordinary" and fails me for not following directions. Next time I throw it away before he even gets to see how bad I forked it up.:mf_surrender:
