'14 CA CB Adoree' Jackson (Signed with USC)

As for his visit to Tennessee, Jackson said he just had the urge to take a visit to Knoxville.

"For Tennessee, I don't even know why I want to go visit, honestly," Jackson said. "It's just something inside of me -- I just want to go visit their school."

Jackson moved to California two years ago, and he said his decision to move will help him with his college decision because distance is no longer a factor.

"It's just a great situation for me when I left Illinois, experiencing everything on my own -- being away from my family and friends basically," he said. "I came out to California and now I feel like I can go anywhere because I've already had those two years of being away from my family and friends."

Florida, FSU, Illinois, Notre Dame, Michigan, LSU, Tennessee, UCLA, USC and Oklahoma State are among Jackson's top 10 schools, but he has not planned any official visits.

Wow, makes me appreciate Bates running a 4.5 even more now. This class has some serious potential, this kid, Bates, Hendrix, Lammons, Garrett....damn can we petition the NCAA to take more this year since we've been screwed over for so long!?

Jackson has long said he would like to see the Vols, but will he is the question. The five star athlete who is being told by schools that he can play on both side of the ball, can literally go anywhere in the country. He's made it pretty clear that Florida and Florida State are in the mix as well as Southern Cal where he recently camped. A major factor in Jackson's decision will be track. The speedster has made it clear that he will be on the track in the spring at the school he attends. One has to wonder how negatively the Vols recent struggles on the track hurt them with Jackson.
