I have seen Forest Gump, my favourite Nam movie though is Full Metal Jacket.

I have seen both of those too, loved Platoon. I have also seen Tigerland, and We Were Soldiers.

There was a great documentary series shown on TV here recently called Vietnam Lost Stories I think, that was fascinating.

Really? I thought that was one of Gibson's finest hours! It was a little over dramatic at times, but it really showed the horror of the war from both the Soldiers and Wives perspective well I thought. Not sure how historically accurate it is though, as I only have an outline knowledge of the war...
