It is. If you have unlimited on AT&T there should still be a $15/mo option to tether/hotspot.

Verizon was not contractually allowed to keep people from tethering, though obviously whenever that line gets upgraded it will lose unlimited data.

I meant FaceTime. I was unaware she could tether anyway. I Jailbroke her phone for that purpose.

You lose your unlimited if you do either through AT&T. Jailbreak is the only way to do it & keep unlimited.

I know this is of topic but can you run multiethnic routers of a single modem?

Meaning I run Ethernet to my main router. Then Ethernet from it to another router?

Looking to expand my wifi out to the pool and my shop.

I'm sure it can be done although I can't say for certain how you would do it. May be just running a long Ethernet cable from the inside router that's connected to the modem to wherever you want the outside router.

I think it depends on your main router. Some allow chaining, some don't.

There are also wireless extenders that can pick up the signal the broadcast out again. Not sure how reliable those actually are.

Wireless extenders are definitely the way to go with what he is wanting to do. Much less hassel and they do work well

I considered going beta myself but chickened out when I read some apps may not work properly. Didn't want to risk it with the new version not coming out for 3-4 more months.

iOS7 is going to be a big redesign - I'm not sure ill like the new flat design but going to download it anyway...my iPad (2) is sort of old I may keep 6 on it

I've already got a couple dozen of my usual apps downloaded, everything seems to be working fine so far. The same as before, though, none of them have changed over to the new keyboard or anything.

Few things... Lock screen can now access notifications, calendar, missed calls, airplane mode, wifi, bluetooth, do not disturb, screen rotate, music, air drop, flashlight, clocks and calculator in addition to the camera. Notifications can be accessed from the top like usual, but now all the other stuff can be accessed from the bottom from any screen.

I don't think the iPad 2 is getting iOS7. Nor is iPhone 4.
