I've already said its pro bono for any Zoner
I need an opinion on how to handle a speeding traffic cam photo letter I got from a podunk country town in west Tennessee. It's a picture of my truck on a highway with other vehicles behind me and in oncoming traffic.

If they don't have a pic of the driver, they can't prove who was driving

But they have a pic of the license plate, a company truck, on a 4 lane divided highway. My opinion is it's just a picture of the truck with no evidence of speeding, unlike a red light cam where they can show you're entering the intersection with the traffic light already red. I may be full of sheet but I think their evidence is full of sheet as well. It states on the letter it won't go on my driving record and it's considered a civil matter.

Set it for trial. I agree witcha

It's about 175 miles from me and I would have to take off work. The ticket is $50. Would I be better off to just pay it or send them some kind of communication stating my legal rights why I'm disputing their stance and I won't pay it?

Do you think if I call their bluff and say I want a trial date they will back off?

They won't back off, but the cop might not show. I would call and get a local traffic attorney. The ones here only charge $100. It's worth it just to **** with them
