29 is the number now as long as 4 EE and we are down to 81 scholarship players at the start of 2013.

Welcome to Volnation. You'll notice that when people get to around 3000 posts generally, they just fade into the background and wait for recruiting news. It's not worth your time to argue with petty children on a message board. They state things on here they would never dare to your face, treat people with a decorum that would shock hitler, and demean others views in the view that it validates their own. The Vol spirit is alive and well here.

THIS a thousand times this.

This may not be the right place to ask this, but where do long snappers fall on the recruiting board. I don't recall seeing one listed and was wondering if this position is recruited much or are they listed as OL.

These are the following predictions from the ESPN Recruiting Nation Hot Board. Seems a lot like the 247 Crystal Board.

I have revised the OP...from here on out, it will be updated with the current commits and targets. The previous list was too exhaustive and with 15 current commits, the targeted players is much more narrow than it was three (3) months ago. I have also removed the links because it makes it easier to read and much easier to update. If you want to find a players' thread, you can use the sites search feature.

Any and all help is much appreciated.

Never too early to start looking ahead to Butch Jones' first recruiting class at Tennessee. The 2014 class should be filled with Vol legacies and a tremendous amount of in-state talent. We lose a lot of seniors after 2013 so expect a class in excess of 25 recruits. I am sure I have forgotten some names, so let me know and I will update. The (*) indicates the recruit is a Vol legacy. UT can sign a maximum of 29 players in the 2014 class as long as 6 of those are early enrollees.

cool UT only needs one more EE

With the current news of Jabo Lee not being eligable, this should open another slot for 2014.
No it won't. Once you sign the letter of intent it's official, it takes up a spot but it doesn't going as an overall scholly. His scholly will likely go to a guy like Brodus or another walk-on

“If a player signs, he counts without regard to whether or not he actually enrolls,” SEC spokesman Charles Bloom said in an e-mail Monday. “ ‘Back counting’ is only permitted for mid-year enrollees who are able to be included as an initial counter for the academic year in which they enroll. ‘Back counting’ is an artificial term for this discussion and not accurate as the question is about the signing limit.”
