I do believe I have a Mike Leake auto rookie downstairs somewhere. still pretty cool that he started in the majors.

Yeah I didn't know which one it was in either, too be honest. He's fine not great. Those guys are important.

Some of the trolls may think it is homerism, but there is no one right now that I would want patrolling at 2nd than Phillips. Glad we have his glove out there.

I did. He has been better in his last two starts but prior to that, when I made the comment, it was an automatic loss. Lost the game prior to this , pitched well but Dusty left him in too long.

I will reserve my enthusiasm at this point, it was after all THE MARLINS.

What if the next 5 guys hit homers? That's a silly response. I just told you he had no sac bunts in years. That means he can't do it. They had a one run lead with a half dozen guys that could PH. Leake was also available.

I like that we won last nigh. I hope this team improves as the year goes on. Haven't been watching too much because of the NBA, but I have been keeping up. After the Grizz finish up the season in mid June, I will try and watch every Reds game.

You are the what if guy. What if they need players later was your point, not mine. So are you going to get rid of Simon because he can't bunt? Getting a clue is all on you dude. If a guy can't do something only an idiot would expect him to do it anyway. This isn't T ball, Dusty Junior.

Because hitting 5 straight runs is just as likely to happen as going to extras right?

Also, did you miss where I agreed with another poster that if nothing use another pitcher who can bunt if Simon absolutely can't? I'm guessing it was simply missed on accident by you. No big.

Is it just me, or does it scare other fans when Broxton ambles his fat ass out there in a close game? Glad they saw that he wasn't real closer material before the season started. I was hoping he would take a clue after last season when he saw that the better players and pitchers are in good physical condition. He looks like a buddy down at the corner bar. Maybe that is what Simon and him do for exercise. I mean, really, a 300+ lb reliever?
