It's great that the kid is serious about his commitment.

But publicly dissing Nick Saban is not the best decision he's ever made.

I disagree. There was no dissing...if it had been more along the lines of "Nicky Satan from Alabubba called and I let him drop" that would be dissing. Politely declining a call...not dissing. I think it shows a level of maturity that is often not seen in young people. What would be the point in potentially wasting someone's time when you have made your decision and there is no room for discussion anymore. To me, Jalen has taken the high road by letting UT and other coaches know I am true to my commitment. It gives me hope that others will take the approach that Alabama, although killing it lately and probably a great fit for some, is not the only or best choice for all recruits and that each and every one of them should go with the best fit for them, athletically and academically.

We get 31 this year chief...and we don't have to ask 10 of our players to get "hurt" so we can sign their replacements
