If Barker wanted to come to UT, would butch even accept his commitment right now? I don't think he would.

Not throwing him under the bus. I see a lot of Northern Ky football and the competition is bad and he reminds me a lot of Zeke Pike and Patrick Towles, both very similar type QB's with simiar ratings/hype coming out of HS. Pike isn't even playing QB anymore despite being hyped up early on as being a National Top 5-10 QB and Towles was beaten out by another true freshman QB las year at UK. Bottom line is none of these QB's out of NKY in recent years are good passers. They are all big guys who run over defenses that average about 150 lbs.

Would be funny as hell if he chooses SC....

...and then you have to question the intelligence of your QB for taking away from the kids spotlight. I could see Bray doing something like this :)

Did I read something wrong? I thought 247 said that Barker committed to Kentucky. Somebody correct me if I am wrong.

It would be even more funny if Barker beats out Towles at QB.

I didn't say he wasnt but by all accounts UT is only taking 1 QB this cycle. Kizer and Cornwell are both still on the board, and both, imo, have more potential than Barker. I don't think it's a stretch to say UT wouldn't take Barker at this point. If they miss on Cornwell and Kizer, I'm sure they will turn up the heat on Barker even if he is committed to UK.
