This kid is 1 of the best films I've EVER seen. This guy has it all. He would look really good in orange

But... our last Jackson to come from California got drafted last year and is now playing in the NFL!

kinda cool that the broncos depth chart lists a right and left defensive end who both attended tennessee. and they might become super bowl winners on the same team.

Wonder what his 40 time is? I'm sure he plays against good comp, yet he just blows by folks as if they're standing still.

sick film is correct, almost the type of movement and speed from another socal kid attending Oregon now (who also stuck it to usc/kif)

“I’ve been in contact with them, and when we talk, we always have a good conversation,” said Jackson, who’s ranked the No. 10 overall prospect and No. 3 cornerback in the 247Composite for the 2014 class.

“Every time I talk to them, I talk to almost every coach. We’ll be on the phone for a couple minutes, just talking and getting to know each other well. I’ll talk to (defensive backs) coach (Willie) Martinez. I’ll talk to the head coach a bunch.

“Basically, they just tell me, with my playmaking ability, they need me a lot,” Jackson said. “They’d just use me as a lockdown corner. Playing in the SEC, the best conference, they said they can definitely see me locking down any receiver. They also talk to me about my playmaking ability.

“They said I’ve just got that knack. When I get the ball, I’ve got the explosiveness and all the attributes. They just love me as a player. They said they love the way I talk and my demeanor. They know I mean business.”

“We talk a lot on the phone,” Jackson said of Kelly. “We text each other a lot, see how each other’s doing. ... I’ve seen him on Twitter, and he hit me up on my phone. After that, we’ve just been talking like brothers, basically. He told me when he goes to the coaches and he talks to them, they talk about me a lot.

“He said he has to get to know me, because I’m number one on their list, so if they’re talking about me like that, he has to get to know me. Once we got to know each other, we chatted it up. We just talk about school, life and stuff like that.”

“He’s just been telling me about the school,” Jackson said of Byron Moore. “He was talking to me mostly about the great atmosphere. That’s basically what he’s telling me about most of the time. He just fell in love with the place. ... He was telling me about the impact he’s made, and he was telling me about the coaches and the atmosphere.”

“They’re in my thoughts,” said Jackson, who’s originally from Illinois. “I’m considering them, so that’s probably a place I’m going to get down on a visit. I don’t know for sure or not, but I would want to. I want to get down there and visit in the summer if I can.

“What I like about them, really, is the coaching staff. They’ve got a lot of coaches that have played in the game or did what I’m doing now and coached in the league. They’ve already got the history, and them being in the SEC, and then talking to other players. And that orange sticks out to me a little bit.”

“I’m probably going to be making mine in the summer,” he said, “so it’s going to be coming up, probably.”

USC and UCLA are the only schools he's visited so far.

This would just be a huge pickup...will be very tough though.

If and when this staff puts together a winning season (hopefully this season) can you imagine what our recruiting class is going to look like.
