She was too old for both of us put together. But, she was a sweety. Is it weird how people know people? Her knowing the guy I used to double date with 50 years ago.

I've been broken, which is why I became crafty in my pursuit. I won't settle for anything less than perfection now in a mate. Play toys I dont worry about. I get the analogy I think.

What made me the proudest was the fact that he hasnt pitched a baseball in about 3 years. The kid who was scheduled to pitch the final game broke a finger in the previous game. They asked Leighton if he thought he could pitch. He threw 4 scoreless and didnt walk a batter. Only allowed 1 hit. Totally ruined the month old bat today. Gonna have to send it back Monday.

Perfection, you ain't gonna get. It's an old story and probably older advice, but you better find a friend first, and then pursue it from there. Out of all the women I've know, from plain crazy to insane, the one I miss most is the one I could just sit and talk to for hours. On end. About anything.:eek:k:

Very sound advice. The problem is I don't attract the good girls that can talk. I attract the ones that want to get naked in 5 seconds. Probably partially my fault. Perfection is a pipe dream, but I had it once and threw it away, so now I'm forever stuck chasing that unicorn.

I fully understand. At some point, the table has to be cleared and a new pursuit begins. Can't chase something that doesn't want to be caught forever. I need to follow my own advice.
