Are you going to have to put her into a home for Alzheimer's patients?

My brother, mom, and I are going to talk about what to do. Still really fresh. She's upset, too.

Probably so. She's been in the house she and my grandfather bought 40 years ago and she is not going to want to leave, but being by herself, there's really no alternative. 25 for me and 23 for my brother feels too young to start aging to make these decisions.

Understandable. My brother and I were totally unprepared but managed. We had Mom at Asbury Acres in Maryville and they did a really good job. She first went into one in Whittle Springs which didn't work out. They didn't do such a good job.

That's tough, 32. I have some friends in the local medical industry if you'd like some suggestions on facilities.

It's taken me 5 years, but I've finally done it.

I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge some fellow posters:

BadJerry: For influencing me to hijack Jdog's (RIP) thread which led to my hazing. Hope you are proud of your protege.

The Ron Mexico: For being the first zoner to officially petition me to be zone member. Bet you regret that one.

Voxx: One of the 3 zoners I have met. I promise that shooting night at Karns was a fluke.

Gonzo: Another zoner I have met. You created my hazing thread. Thanks.

Gnome: Please stop stalking me downtown. Although you can back up that the gator girl is pretty damn good looking.

3*: I may lulz at your posts more than any other. Here's to making sure no one else creates "Da official" bball game threads but you next year. Damnit TFG.

Slice: You tried to give me the nickname TD, but Pubes has stuck.

Modbock: Waterworld. What else is there to say?

Jenny: May you RIP again soon, and forever.

And finally to Freak: Without you, none of us would be here.

To all other zoners: y'all are cool. You carry the burden of keeping this site sane and deserve way more credit than you are given for that.

I know no one gives a shiz about this, so carry on with your lives. I will go ahead and jump off the Henley Street Bridge, DIAF, and anything else that applies.

Boom!! :fireworks: :beerf: Congrats, 32. Sorry to hear about your grandma. That disease sucks and has affected some of my family.
Go Vols!!!

That's tough 32. Major life decisions that affect your whole family at 25 have got to suck, but you seem like a smart enough and mature enough guy to handle them well.

Congrats 32 on the post and I will make sure to get pics next time.

As everyone else has said this is a tough decision to go through for your family and I know you are smart enough to handle it.
