Knoxville's coverage of the Grizz is really pissing me off.

Tonight, I may get lucky and actually get to see the game televised, simply because the Hawks AND the Braves don't play. If the Hawks ever play the same night as the Grizz, EVEN if the game times don't overlap at all, they will televise the Hawks, and not the Grizz, on Sportsouth.

On a game like tonight, if the Hawks were playing, I still wouldn't get to watch them. Even though the game is televised on NBA TV, and I get NBA TV, they still would black it out, because Sportsouth has the rights to the game. EVEN though SS usually won't air the game, anyway.

I'm done venting. Hopefully it will be shown on SS tonight. Even though it's a borderline meaningless game at this point, I'd still like to watch it.

Both the Reds and the Predators play tonight, so I like our chances.


Don't worry, I make this complaint about once a week.


I have found that my parent's direct tv actually gets them grizz games that I would not get with comcast. I was able to watch on Saturday, even though on comcast the reds were scheduled to be on and some college baseball. That's what annoys me the most, when silly college sports takes spots ahead of in state teams. Especially when it is two out of state college teams!

Damn, I didn't know the Reds superceded the Grizz... That's ridiculous.

The Preds should never be a conflict, because they are always shown on FSN. Without the Braves and the Hawks on, I figured the Grizz would be on SS. What time do the Reds play?

Also, are you sure Comcast didn't show the game Saturday? Sometimes the guide shows some garbage college sports, but they actually wind up showing the Grizz.

Reds play at 7pm.

I didn't get to double check with comcast on Saturday. I do know on Direct TV they actually had it in the guide that they would show the Grizz game. As where Comcast stated they would be showing reds and some college stuff. I know with DirectTV and the preds, it gets placed on its own channel, and once the broadcast ends they channel just goes blank. I wonder if they do the same thing for the Grizz. I didn't stay to watch the channel go off air.

Looking at Fox's tv schedules, DirectTV where my parents live will be getting the game on FSSW channel #676. For comcast where we live, they only list hockey at 7pm on FSTN and then Miss state and Texas A&M playing baseball at 6, followed by college football at 9, on SPSO.


Willing to wager that we get the grizz tonight on comcast.

With hawks and preds off, I'm sure Grizz will be on one of the FSS channels. The Reds play on ESPN tonight so that frees up one of the F SS channels.

Chris Broussard with zero grizzlies on his 1st 2nd or 3rd all nba team. Had Zbo on third but took him off. No mention of Marc. Hilarious.

Broussard is a fing idiot! Marc is arguably one or two (imo the best in nba) in the league for bigs.
You can make a case for him at either spot, but to not put him on the list at all is just ignorant.

I believe I would have to get NBA league pass if I didn't live anywhere close to Memphis where I'd get to watch every Grizz game. I'd go crazy. My condolences to you guys with that problem.

I wanted to get League pass out here in Knoxville, but we are still considered 'local market' for the grizz, so all of them are blacked out.

I would have to leave the state, and likely the region if I wanted to watch the grizz.
