Tennessee recruiting AZ football hard. No surprise with ex-Valley star Terry Fair on staff. Jalen Brown ('14), Christian Kirk ('15) offered.
Peterman just starting taking more snaps with the 1's on offense. CBJ wants to be able to make a fair analysis between him and Worley. However, Worley is definitely the #1 right now.
As the other gents noted, Worley looks to have the spot early on. But IMO, we have 4 talented QB's and with this beastly O-line, any one of them could shine as long as the receivers and RB's step up.
Report: Planned visit to TCU for Michael Dyer has been postponed | College Sports Blog
TCU is having second thoughts.
Good. He should visit Knoxville instead. There's plenty of opportunity to carry the rock in UT's back field.
Do it, Butch. :crossfingers:
Are you guys sure about Dyer? School after school has passed on him. There's got to be some inside stuff that maybe we don't know about that could just be to much of a risk to take a chance on.

That's probably the case. I'm just a fan who knows we need an elite RB this fall to capitalize on our talented OL and help make up for the drop off in WR talent and experience. I want to win. And I think an elite RB could be mean the world to our win/loss total this fall.
I'm sure Butch has done his homework on Dyer and if he's not worth the risk, Dyer won't get the chance to be a Vol. I'm just hoping somehow Dyer passes the test and moves to Knoxville. And if not, another elite RB who's available, although I don't think there are too many of those out there.
No. We're not sure. But based on his talent level, our need, and reports that he has changed, I'd throw dice.
Especially if the Lane situation takes a turn for the worse, which would fit in with our recent habit of losing a starter to off the field issues before the season. Our OL deserves a great RB.
It depends
If we win with Dyer, no big deal, people will forget all about it.
If we don't. Butch's speech about integrity and all that jazz blows up in his face.
So it really depends on if fans and UT can handle the negative publicity and the negative recruiting that would happen. Thats not even factoring the possibility of Dyer making another big mistake while at UT or how the team will respond to a player like Dyer.
Again, this only matters if UT loses a lot of games.
Nothing personal. "Boys, I'm bringing in the best players I can find to help us compete for a championship. Carries are earned on the practice field... game on."
Every recruiting class is an effort to recruit over the previous recruiting class. This is no different.
