But offensive coordinator Mike Bajakian and running backs coach Robert Gillespie both were noncommittal about Lane's return.

"That's up to coach Jones," Bajakian answered when pressed on a timetable for the junior Lane to rejoin the team.

Asked if Lane would be at Saturday's scrimmage, Gillespie effectively said he couldn't be sure who would be present for the Vols' final major intrasquad exhibition of spring camp and appeared to cut short his media session.

Holy ish. The video on VQ that covers 1 on 1's with the WRs and DBs is so diappointing.

Croom seems like the most consistent WR we have right now. DY dropped several balls. Pig's timing was off. Bowles dropped a couple. And Blanc's route running and timing was off also.

Really need Marquez North to show up. Yeah its that bad....

Also need Harris and Dallas to get healthy. Really long way to with the WRs.

I think I read the same thing. I think that ship may have sailed for a lot of folks once Dyer's name resurfaced in connection with all the bad news out of Auburn over the last week. Folks don't want to be associated with the negative press. My guess is that Dyer is not an option. ...but I personally would be ok giving him another chance, if he's truly changed.

If he got his stuff together after AU why not. Nothing he did there would affect UT other than his situation may become a distraction

i look at it more from where our needs are - if we are under 85 scholarships and wont have to kick someone off - and Lane ends up moving on (which I hate to say at this point but our luck in this area hasnt been great the past decade) - then what do we have to lose - give him a chance

maybe we get a stud - which would be awesome

maybe we get a headcase - which we could ask to move on ASAP

Anyone know what recruits will be here tomorrow? I mean Peyton is talking to the team, and if he just happened ito bump into a recruit or two...

He probably doesn't want to be on it for that reason. Foster is a silly man, not meaning anything bad. He is just funny if you have read some articles about him.
