Twitter and fans shouldn't mix.
actually these kids love the attention. and if you think tweeting recruits is stupid or shouldnt/wont happen then you arent up with the times. Eric Ainge himself has said that the UT coaches love all the attention that the fans show these kids, it helps them to see how huge and involved the Vol fan base is.
Yeah, that'll make kids want to come here....hanging out on the boat of a 50 year old. I think they would be more likely to jump on a boat of other college kids hanging out at Prater. Prater is crazy. I'm in my 30's and I feel like an old creeper when we go down there.
Yeah, but I think we can agree that old dudes trying to get young kids to hang out with him on his boat is bad. Show the kid love and make it known that UT needs them. Leave the "let's hang out and play video games on my boat" out of the tweet.
yeah i just read through his last three days of tweets and didnt see one instance of him telling recruits they can hang out on his boat or anything like that.... he tweets pics of vol stuff and says encouraging things to the recruits about the vols, same as the other 5 or 6 thousand super active vol tweeters myself included.
I know they love the attention and its sad that recruiting is becoming an even bigger circus than it already is. Old men messaging HS kids is just weird.actually these kids love the attention. and if you think tweeting recruits is stupid or shouldnt/wont happen then you arent up with the times.
