I don't think I could drink 7 ounces of whiskey and walk straight. Not too good with the hooch.

It makes no sense but I can quickly get slap hammered on beer quickly but it takes alot of whiskey for me to get tore up. I get a buzz quick though. My version of 'tore up' has me sitting on my back porch slurring my words and smiling like a mofo. I don't get too crazy.

I'm loving this stuff. This is my 7th or 8th bottle.

I've never had that. Looks interesting. Sour Mash?

I drink twelve year old George Dickel. Don't drink JD anymore. Not since they dropped the proof on it a few years back. Changed the taste too much.

It is a boutique whiskey and is actually made in Indiana for now. It is illegal to distill here In Chattanooga right now. The law is one vote away from being changed and it is expected in the next few weeks. Chattanooga Whiskey Co. already has the building for their distillery. I do work with these guys and they will do an awesome job here in Chattanooga.

Here is a description from their site:
" Smooth with a hint of spice, you’ll love the clean finish of our 1816 Reserve. The Reserve is a 90-proof American Whiskey, aged four years in charred American white oak barrels with a mash bill consisting of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley. Drink it as you like it – neat, chilled with whiskey stones, or mixed in your favorite cocktail."

Where is it made in Indiana? I have family up there. Maybe I can get some freebies from them. I still throw it in their face about how them damn yankees burned the south during what i call the War of Southern Shananigans. They owe me. Still burns my arse that those dang yankees couldn't take a joke.

Actually. I just like trying different kinds of whiskey and if they live close, maybe i'll go to the distillery and get it first hand.

It is made in Lawrenceburg, Indiana according to the bottle and bottled in Nashville. They expect to be distilling in Chattanooga by October at the latest.

Odd that I haven't seen it around here. Of course until I saw your pic, I didn't know it existed. I'll look for it.

Like you. Beer gets me drunk quicker or more than whiskey. I remember it took me forever to even like the taste of beer when I was younger. Fell in love with whiskey with the first sip.

It is a new brand but I think it will go mainstream. It is just good whiskey. It is cliche to say but Chattanooga WHiskey is super smooth and tastes great. I love craft beer and boutique whiskeys. Drinking them is bizznass, I have an awesome job!

I love craft beer too. Have been making my own for about three years now. Of course part of making your own beer is trying everyone elses. It's necessary for getting new ideas. At least that's what I tell my wife.
