I don't get the sense that anything is going to happen tonight. The one we were chasing isn't doing anything tonight. We are checking on a couple of other things, but it doesn't appear there will be any news tonight.

They had 2 losses last year, in one Bridgewater got hurt and in the other he completed over 70% of his passes for over 400 yards and 3 touchdowns.

My fault I was thinking of 7-6 2011 season. Two loses to Syracuse and UConn were ugly loses however. 400 yds and three td's in that loss is UGLY.

No, not at all. Anytime a quarterback completes over 70% of his passes for 400 yards and 3tds it is certainly not ugly. Hell, a first round NFL draft pick had a lower completion percentage, half the yards and one less touchdown on that same Syracuse team. You can't expect anymore out of a QB than what Bridgewater did that game.

Article on Byron Moore over on VQ...

"I'm just, you know, trying to make sure we get the best class here," said the senior defensive back. "I know this is my senior year, but I just want to make sure that when I leave, I leave the team in the best hands and that we have the best players here. So that way when I come back, I get to come in here and have fun watching these recruits win games for us.

"I've just always been the type of guy like that. Whatever team I'm on, I'm going to love it fully and give my 110-percent. So it doesn't matter if I've been here for a week, a year or month. I'm going to give my all for Tennessee and take a lot of pride in it. I know when I was a recruit, sometimes you get tired of hearing it and talking to the coaches. You want to hear it from the players. I just try to be another outlet for them. And when they're making their decision, they can already have relationships here with us."

"Every day, I've got a theme. I had 'Trigger Thursday' and 'Future Vol Friday' and 'Pull the Trigger Tuesday.' I think I'm going to go with a 'Make it Official Monday.' We're just trying to keep the theme, keep this momentum that we got with this recruiting class going," Moore said. "A lot of guys I've been talking to, I think there's going to be a lot of surprises coming up in a few weeks. It's going to be good for us."

Heck if Hurd doesn't count I don't know what does. Under that thinking half of florida's team doesn't count as most are from florida and would venture alot grew up florida fans. Bottom line is if they sign they count, as far as the former players sons that have committed I venture to say say that Kelly would not have committed to Dooley and Hurd who is not a legacy player would not be committed either. Some want to find away to scrutinize Butch Jones at this juncture but using this theory is weak as a wet paper bag.GO BIG ORANGE!!!

These few fans need to get on board the BIG ORANGE is coming, and some on here cant stand it, I dont understand why people are not on board, Butch will bring the BIG ORANGE NATION SEC AND NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS in the years ahead, WE ARE COMING AND COMING FAST.:peace2:

Both Jones and Bajakian stated that this will be a power spread, uptempo pro-style offense. We'll go vertical but the emphasizes will be on quick, short, precision, timing passes---all curls are perfect.

I think, with our current personnel and the fact we'll be breaking in a new QB, this will make the transition over the CBJ's offense much easier and the offense much more efficient.

There will be growing pains, no doubt, but nothing in the sense that our D had last year....seems like this group of coaches are really emphasizing teaching the offense.

So much talent in SoFla but the Top 25-30 kids are going to look instate first..unless they have some connect to an oos program. Then the counties that lean UM no matter what like Dade and Broward. PBC kid are a little more open but tend to stay instate if they have Big 3 offers. UT would be better served imo to focus on North Fla and Orlando, Daytona, Space Coast and what left in Tampa after UF and FSU get their picks. Still leaves around 150 FBS kids out there.

Completely off subject but I'm contemplating moving to the Broward / Dade Co. area...any advice?

Or CBJ will go down to Florida and take whoever the f*** he wants. And CWM and UF can sit and watch. And like it.

Geno Smith would have been a first rounder last year out of the Big East. People forgetting WVU played in Big east his first 3 years...but I guess he's getting drafted this high based on playing great D's at Texas, Okie, Okie State,Baylor and TT
