Shulman at UT-Chattanooga resigned yesterday after being denied a contract extension. Only had one more year left. Will be paid his last year of $130K and the new coach will be hired by the new AD, after he gets hired. Big cluster, IMO. As an alum, I'd like to see UTC become a strong mid-major team. Just not so strong that they poach recruits from UT, of course.

I'm from there and will be going back once I graduate. I'd love to see us return to where we were. That all-senior team from a few years ago could have been a lot better during the year, even though they did go to the Dance.

Could have been a 14 seed though, if they hadn't lost so many games during the year. Remember it?

I do. I graduated in 2003 and 2005 from grad school. We had some really good years, and this year could have been a lot better had we not had so many injuries. But, I agree with everyone else here, this is a UTK board.

I'd be pretty happy with Bruce going down to UTC, it'd give me an opportunity to go watch him in action. Plus if he goes there, it means we probably won't have to play against him. That would kill me.
