You may be right, but the more likely scenario IMO is that all it would do is ratchet up the post and thread counts because it would be more people for some to argue with.

I read/post in several of them. Not really a lot of difference in any of them. After yesterdays meltdown in here, i'm surprised anyone has the audacity to talk about other forums right now. SMH

What was the meltdown in here yesterday?

And I post in pretty much every other forum on this board..I wouldn't say I have the "audacity" to talk about the football forum. I just feel like in the recruiting forum you can get more out of conversations that you can't in the FF.

The difference is that was just a couple of threads that were derailed. And for what? A day? And now they're back to normal. From my experience, almost all of the threads in the FB forum are derailed before they even have a chance.

Either way, many of us prefer the recruiting forum. We like it here. If others don't, bye...:peace2:

I assure you multiple threads are derailed daily. You may not see it but it happens. Also, when it goes bad in a recruit thread it's an absolute mess to clean up

I'm not saying any subforum is better/worse than the others but I see little difference in most of the sports-related ones on VN

I agree with you. You get more out of the conversations in here. You get, IMO, better info quicker too.

Yesterday's meltdown was bad enough to have several pages deleted. So, while it may not happen as often...it does happen, and they are just as bad as any other forum when it does.

"The zoo" is such a nice way to term it. That's how I feel. I open the forum there every day, just look around but rarely touch. Perfect analogy.

This is great news. It seems to me this coaching staff's background really is a benefit to them. Many of them have been at schools where you have to coach and teach well to be successful, since you aren't working with exceptional athletes. They could do wonders with the talent we have on campus.

I'm legitimately excited about the future. I don't know if we'll win a championship anytime soon, but I am pretty confident CBJ will make us relevant again on a regular basis. Right now, I'd be happy with that for a change...

Wouldn't it be a trip though if everyone truly bought in and they ran the table in his first year? That would be the biggest turn around in CFB history. Won't happen but still.

True. I say that because I'm not buying that we don't have talent on defense or with the offensive line we have that we start front scratch. These players have never been truly taught the game of football by a good coach. So why can't they shock the world. Like you said Auburn came out of nowhere. Never know.
