As to who certain commitments like Wharton and Kelly were alluding to Thursday night as the next one in, we heard rumblings of Treyvon Paulk being close to pulling the trigger but nothing materialized Thursday night. Paulk has laid low since Jay Graham left and the hiring of Robert Gillispie, but there are some close to the situation that believe he is ready to be done and the Vols continue to lead there.

It would be awesome to get some great RBs onboard early. I think Hurd's commitment has moved the time table up on a few recruits. I hope this is the start of getting the VOLS back to the TOP of the SEC again.

Ok guys talk to me here. We got one stud RB in Hurd which I am beyond excited to get. But now with Paulk looking to pull the trigger, is there other RB's out there that we would prefer over Paulk? Where does Paulk stand against the other RB's ? I try to read and learn about the recruits we are in on and some are obvious no brainer's but tell me, would ya'll be happy, really really really happy, or estatic with Paulk? Or would you rather have another RB to go with Hurd? Thanks ahead of time for your input.

Very happy with Paulk. Chubb would be my first choice though. Would also be happy if Sed Palmer or Kinlaw signed up with us.

With Hurd on board, my next 2 picks would be Wilbon and Paulk. Autry would be next IF we took 4. Not sure if he sticks at RB in college, but ideally we need to get the Norcross guys. JMO

I gotta feeling getting Hurd early will get one of the other guys on our list, like Paulk to pull the trigger early. Paulk is a take all day long, but if he waited and we pulled a Chubb, then it would be a different story. I like Paulk, hope he is next.

Chubb would be solid but you take Paulk if he wants to commit and move on. Chubb most likely ends up at UGA anyway.

I saw Autry mentioned.... He is high up on the board, but not the RB board. Staff sees him at slot receiver.

I agree - we need to land a quality stable of backs this cycle.

From reading VQ, I was disappointed to read that it sounds like the staff is not overly impressed with the RBs we have on campus, especially not the crew sitting behind Lane and Neal. I've been sorted of hoping some of those guys would make a leap forward this year, but in the early going, doesn't sound like that's the case...

Autry Is a pure athlete. I am guessing that he is the number one athlete on our board. He will be dangerous in the slot, but he could also shift into the backfield and take a few carries. He is also very dangerous on kick off and punt returns. He's a take all day long IMO.

Yesterday Fortenberry said he thinks the staff will take 3 RB's and maybe a specialty guy too.

im liking the idea of adding paulk with hurd and then i dont care who else we get. honestly this rb class is already the best in years with just mr hurd on board. anybody after this is just icing on the cake. but if i had to choose obviously i would want rock, mixon or chubb. any of those three would make for a bama-esque type rb class....
