I think CBJ tells the recruits what they will run on offense and he probably knows what he runs better than the fans. Therefore, it is a non subject.

“Coach Gillespie actually offered me when he was at West Virginia,” Paulk told InsideTennessee. “We have known each other for a while. As soon as he got to Tennessee we were talking on Facebook. He has been messaging me on there and talking about how excited he is about Tennessee. I am probably going to call him soon.”

"I have Tennessee as my favorite right now," Paulk told Scout on Wednesday.

“Tennessee has been recruiting me a lot,” he said. “I have gotten letters from every coach on staff there. Coach Graham even called me when he was leaving and said they would get someone in there who was a good coach. He told me not to worry.”

“Coach (Butch) Jones and I talk all the time,” Paulk said. “We have a pretty good relationship. He calls me and talks to me on Facebook all the time. I think that was what I was the most impressed with on my visit was Coach Jones.”

“My boy Ryan Jenkins is about to be there and that is cool,” he said. “He is always talking to me about Tennessee. I talked to a lot of the players when I was there and they were cool. I spent time in the dorms and just hanging with those guys. It was like a family.”

Wow! No matter what happens CJG is a VFL in my book. It seems as if he didn't feel comfortable and just moved on, no hard feelings. Thats pretty classy on his part. It would've been easy to say come to FSU with me.

At the time FSU had two highly rated RB's committed. Now that those two have flipped to other schools I wouldn't be surprised if Paulk gets a call from Graham.

But it seems he has a close relationship with CG. Its sure is great to get some real positive news from a much needed RB. :good!:

Pretty classy from JG. Also leads me to believe the kid really wants to come to UT if JG is reassuring him that UT will get a good replacement and he shouldn't worry.

On the other hand, upon further review, JG may have just done that to keep his credibility with Paulk in order to begin recruiting him to FSU soon. Can't imagine he would just let the kid go if he really likes him which I assume he does. Be interesting to watch.
