Freak, why don't we have a barter section? A place to post things for sale etc. on the site. We have where we can sell tickets and such but for nothing else.

Have two goats and one pig. Will trade even for late model Cadillac in mint condition. Thanks for reading. Now, back to you Joe Bob.

Yes, but here we kinda know each other in a small way. We have interacted with others or read there posts. What I am trying to say I would be more apt to trust someone off of here vs a craigslist etc.

and still things like this happen

http://www.volnation.com/forum/pub/...lout-thread-bigalwilson.html?highlight=annual

and that's just with tickets. Now imagine what would go on when everyone is trying to sell their old broken toaster oven for $100

I don't run VN and don't make those decisions. I just have to think it would be an absolute nightmare to police

I'm a member of a golf forum that has a Buy-Sell-trade section. For the most part it's pretty up & up. Everything is done through PayPal & there's a way to leave feedback &/or call out the crap sellers/buyers.

I do that on a couple of forums too but you always have a few that will come in and make some big headaches. Paypal isn't as reliable and a feedback system would need to be adopted. There are a couple out there to use but it's still a crap shoot when dealing with anonymous people on the internet
