That's cool but the naked arm look isn't for everybody. Lol

I agree. Those uni's have a little potential. I kinda dig the smaller numbers up over one pec. These are the most inovative concepts I've seen that don't wreak of "we have no idea how to do an original uniform so let's just put orange on a Pro-Combat" idea or just plain ugly. I could roll with these.

And yes, I'm a compression shirt guy. Decent deltoids with beanie little biceps... I need all the coverage I can get, :eek:lol:

Oh I wasn't talking about the unis was talking more about the compression shirts like Da'Rick used to wear all the time. I really think most of these unis they are making in this thread are horrible. I think flashier socks and cleats would go a long way with perception. And going all orange with some different sock ideas would be nice. Also going all white similar to Oregon style would be nasty too. The Black and Orange unis could be done as long as you keep the Orange T's on the helmet.

Jay did we expect king to stick there??

I was thinking we expected him to land elsewhere

He was recruited as an athlete, but most thought he would be end up a LB (though there isn't really much film out there on him playing lb) and that is where he started fall practice last year.

Looking to diversify and foster competition, Justin King could be a factor at tight end in addition to sophomore Brendan Downs and redshirt freshman Justin Meredith. Devrin Young may even get some looks at slot receiver. Much has been made of midterm enrollee Paul Harris, and he has apparently been 'Paul the Baller,' but don't sleep on Riyahd Jones making an instant impact or having the potential to do so in the secondary.

Naz Oliver has been a bit of a forgotten man in the secondary, but Oliver will get a chance this spring to show his wares and Channing Fugate has made considerable progress at linebacker and also shed weight and gotten quicker, we're told.

Jones' plan is to have all the offense, defense and special teams installed before spring practice starts on March 9th.

I'm really hoping Paul Harris and Marquez North are the freshman equivalents of Hunter and Rogers.

I certainly never expected him to be playing LB at this level

I expected him to play H-back type role. when Dooley first moved him I was excited. He has a similar build to Chris Brown. Prolly could be effective between the LOS and 15 yards.

Is the h-back type role more prevalent in this jones offense from what you know??

I am guessing it is

Im thinking he will play the "Move" TE.
the guy who flexes, motions into and out of the backfield.

Coach Butch & Jake's offense really havent exploited their opponents defenses with their TEs.

Its odd, considering the talent they have had at the position the last 3 years.

Kelce had a good 3-4 game stretch to end last season but up until then, their TEs didnt dominate the pass game. Esp considering they had a6'4 265 lb/4.5 40 guy in Robinson and a very capable Kelce all 3 of their years in Cinci.

Interesting. Looking forward to seeing how it all works out

anyone read War Room where Eric Berry said (paraphrase) it felt good to have a head coach just "Smile" when he met face to face.

Boy o boy.

no further comment necessary.
