How Volnation came to be and the Mods came about

Not sure where actually to put this.

I have been here for about 2 years now and have never read anywhere how the creation of Volnation.com came about and how each of the Mods came to be part of it.

Was very curious since it is a great site and always love hearing how things came into being.

If any Mods (or Freak) would like to tell the story or their stories that would be awesome.

Also curious who the very first member ever was and who from the original gang is still here.

On the 8th day Volnation was created!! :)

This is a pretty cool idea, I would be interested in the story too. :hi:

i think it was around in 04? I remember looking back on thread meltdowns when we barely lost to Florida and LSU in 06. We would be thrilled to be that close now.

There's another thread somewhere about this. Long story short, VN was created because Freak wanted a Volnation.com email. Then he made a little message board and a few people started posting. 10 years later.....Boom.

Freak takes interest.

Freak and friend talk about starting web site, but don't know what it should focus on.
Freak says "Porn"
Friend says "Vols"
Freak - "Porn"
Friend - "Vols"
Freak - "Porn"
Friend - "Vols"
They flip a coin - Freak loses.

I didn't know about Volnation until a dear friend in Salt Lake City hooked me up... tanxs friend, if you should read this :huggy: ... been a member since 9-04..
