'13 AL RB Johnathan Ford (no longer a Vandy commit)

J. Wilkins just comitted to Ole Miss...maybe they knew they weren't getting Barber (AU)...which would help UT

You would think this scenario would help us; however, I just posted in Wilkins' thread this scenario:
Wilkins to OM
Barber, Ford, and Lawson to AU

If Folston sticks with Notre Dame, then Ford and Barber both to AU could happen...remember they want to sign 3 RBs apparently. This scenario leaves us in the cold once again without a decent RB this cycle.

Except we know that Ford wants to go to UT. He can go to his dad with a valid argument and say "I'm going to be the man in this class".

This will be the running back we take in this class. I continue to say that and have been saying this for awhile. I have continued to hear positive development about this kid. Just thought I would throw that out there. TIFWIW. Now we can wait til NSD knowing we have our running back and a good one at that.

You sound 100% on this. Why?

Out of all the RBs other than Green, Ford is the one that needs to be a Vol. Having seen all the video I could find posted I can see he has the perfect running style for the Jones offense and has run from a similar style offense in HS. The transition would be relatively easy. He has the speed, moves, and instinct with a frame that can develop and add 10 lbs of muscle without losing a step. He is good enough to start and be the feature back by his second season IMO.

Need this one along with Bell, Lawson, 11berry, Miller, Boyd and others. If they add Boyd the WR's are going to be sick as a group in a couple of years. May send Saban off to retirement or the NFL earlier than planned.

Lol @ you guys getting trolled by a CANADIAN Auburn fan. Make sure to check out FVsports and if you search hard enough, you'll find all you need to know, brahs.

explain what is the perfect running style for Jones offense?
bc what you described after that sentence basically describes Every very good Running back

I'm thinking quick, decisive, hard to tackle, good hands, great blocker, rare fumbles and tackles well on picks, but that only applies to the Jones agenda.

Because the things that i have heard are lining up with what is happening. Their is a thread already going about Ford is a Vol and him telling the coaches. It lines up with everything I have been told.

Sounds great! Can you elaborate on what is happening?

Your glass is constantly half-empty. Do you have a scenario that favors UT? :whistling:...

If Folston goes to (AU) then Ford is coming to us... he might even if that doesnt happen. I know this is off topic but from the things ive been seeing and hearing from CZA Boyd will be a VOL on Wed...jmo.

Isn't it odd that metaprick disappears when the truth comes out that Ford didn't visit the barn.
I must say it feels a great deal better in here now.
