Bruin I never said I had a issue with him not visiting Bell. My issue was that none of our coaches approached him or his parents at the dome. I have since met Vonn and his Mother. Actually had a few conversations with them recently. And apparently it didn't bother them. It was actually appreciated in fact.

As I pointed out that night we needed our contacts used in a better fashion. Looks like it paid off!!!

Not to mention CUM was draped all over them like my grandmother's shawl. It would have been a bit awkward.

What those convo's have told me is we as fans don't know what recruiting is. We have our opinions of what should be done, but that doesn't mean it's right. So I will not question Coach Jones on the matter again.

I don't remember what site or if it was on Twitter but I thought I had heard Bell was coming back to UT this weekend. It was rumored he was going to come in this weekend and let us know monday of his decision and then let everyone know on NSD. After I read that I stopped worrying til I saw the posts in here. I wish I remember where I saw it at.

I know most on here think I am full of it but I do know a little about the process because I have done it for a living. That night I felt strongly that less was more. Jones needed a better setting to sell himself in and darn glad he did.

I don't think people realize how annoying the recruiting process can get to recruits and their parents. Sometimes they just want to sit in peace and watch their kid play in a state championship game.

I'm just trolling. Following recruiting is cool, but you'll quickly grow tired of "vol lock", "big fish" and other general statements made by the "insiders".

Letters of Intent are the only 'vol lock' you can trust.

One of the traits of a great recruiter is knowing when to give space and when and how to apply pressure!

This is a rumor, and I do not have direct knowledge but here goes. But I was just told Vonn Bell is in Knoxville this weekend helping recruit. Like I said I do not know if that is fact. He may not actually be on campus directly. TIFWIW
