'13 AL RB Johnathan Ford (no longer a Vandy commit)

Maybe CBJ should have contacted Ezekiel Elliott who is a OSU commitment. He was just moved to a soft verbal as he is taking a visit to Missouri. 6' 200lbs 4.4 4 star.

Can't remember the exact wording, but at some NSD pep rally type thing at vanderbilt he publicly exclaimed how the player that decommitted was not a man of honour and lacked integrity.

I thought that was Les Miles.

Honestly, if they recruited worth a damn I'd be in favor of taking every single one of Vandy's recruits that we had room for just to let them know their place.

I used to think South Carolina and Georgia were bad about thumping their chests the first time they learned to cross midfield in a game. Vandy's football program has taken optimism and confidence and turned it into pure silliness. Not sure what a Commodore has to do with a boat...but if you ever get tired of throwing around that idiotic line "anchor down" , try "Flash in the Pan" . That suits you better.

Commodore is a naval rank, so I think that's part of the reason for the anchor and boat imagery. Could be more to it, I don't know.

But I agree, Vandy is way out of hand. Georgia I can understand being cocky (though they need a title to go with the attitude). South Carolina with Spurrier I can understand too. But Vandy? I will never understand nor respect.

Yeh Georgia before Richt went on a LONG string of suckage , and as soon as they started winning games again they were world beaters. Their fans adjusted and they're not so bad anymore. We kind of switched places in fact, but SoCar has a ton of ground to make up before they should be cocky. Hopefully our fans won't be too obnoxious once we start getting it together again. I didn't know about the rank thing. Makes sense now, but still sounds stupid.

It was a Naval rank. They now use Rear Admiral Lower Half. Officers did not like being refferred to as "Commode Doors." Let the jokes commence.

The offer that made him de commit is Auburn.

He is a lifelong Auburn fan. His family is all-Auburn. His town is all Auburn. His school is all Auburn. His coach is all auburn. Hell he was/is all auburn.

Once AU offered it was game over in my opinion. If AU did not offer then it would have been a VU/UT battle like Zac Cunningham.

Oh I see. Like Malik Foreman.

A tweet from Caleb Azubike

@VandyKid_55: I really Hope Rudy Goes To UT. Just So I humiliate Him In The BF Everytime He Has A Mere Chance Of Touching The PigSki. Other Than dat GL!

As much as I cant stand Franklin its amazing what he can convince a kid to believe. Caleb probably also thinks he can fly.

Still not sure why he had to abandon the Nashvegas account. They're not the same person but they do "know" all the same recruits.

My guess would be he got banned after all the nice things he had to say after the game... So he created another account and came back to pose as a Vol fan again. Unfortunately for him, idiots can never hide their true colors for long...
