Agreed. This just seems like another situation we'll finish 2nd in.

I think if we get Lawson and/or Bell, I'll be very, very pleased. Anything beyond that seems pretty unlikely to me, in terms of the big names still out there.

A friend passed this to me from UNC's premium scout board...

According to IC sources, Gunter Brewer left an in-home visit with North and his family last Thursday without a firm idea of what North would end up doing. Again, we’re told he left the impression on several who interacted with him during his UNC official visit that Chapel Hill was where he wanted to be. However, more and more sources close to Mallard Creek expect Tennessee to be his ultimate choice.

Sounds like a kid who is really torn between the home state and a better opportunity. Tough one but I think he knows what he wants to do.

I hope Butch can close on all the recruits he's after. I think he has done very well in the short time he's been on the job. He's also working on next years class as well.

So he knows where he's going, and his dad's twitter is almost exclusively to follow Tennessee's staff? I find it hard to believe he'd follow the ENTIRE staff of a school his son isn't going to. Just wouldn't make sense.

maybe logic: waiting til NSD to announce/sign that letter so that the people around him pushing him to UNC can just sit down and shut up. If he committed now, he would be bothered until NSD.

reason that is hopeful and probably untrue: could just want the hype surrounding his NSD announcement, which I can't blame him for at all.

Could be a similar situation with Morris out of Memphis, which may not bode well for us.

i would like to know if his father is following the entire tar heels staff too. It could be that he is just active on twitter and wants to get more info from the schools his son seems to be choosing from.

North is a VOL. He wants to catch balls not watch them go over his head.
