No....Jones was a secret visit to Ole miss and Reed at Alabama

I just looked and I saw that as well. Jones was supposed to be a Ole Miss and Reed is listed as a soft verbal, so they know he is taking visits. Being secret about it does not make much sense. With that said, would love to have any/all of the 3. Reed is a JC (DT IMO) but having played JC in Scooba, does not bode well for getting him out of Mississippi.

There is a distinct possibility that CBJ whiffs on signing a top RB in this class. My feeling is that we would be okay in the 2013 season and that we should pass on signing a lesser player just to fill the numbers up. Save that spot for someone in the 2014 class, who is worthy.

Yea, don't think we are signing anybody this year, at least it isn't looking good. I think we will be ok this year. Hopefully we can get Hurd or Chubb next year Preferably both

I want Jonathan Ford, but if he peters out, I am not sold on Kemp and Turner.

I know Justin King's name has been thrown around at the FB position. But, the way 247 put it this morning in the VIP room, it sounded like King would be working out with the TE's this spring.

I don't think we really have a FB position. They will use a TE and sometimes a H-B, but it should just be one position group that will be used interchangeably.

Mike Farrell on Rivals saying Butch Jones could pull some surprises this last week...in a good way.

I think we will see some surprises & us making some noise on nsd has been the plan all along for this staff. I think we'll see a commit or two from the '14 class as well. JMO

Derek Dooley informed me reports that he has taken Dallas job are not true. Said neither party has made a decision.

JRM is an exceptional rb. I think he may get a look there this spring.
