Dude, if you have seen any grace in his backhanded apologies, always led or followed by an insult, please point it out to me. I find it odd that you choose me as the subject of your speech instead of the guy that started the personal attacks or even both of us together. I guess I lost the insult battle, or maybe its because he has more posts than I do, or maybe you know him personally. If you paid attention I attempted to bring it back to Lawson conversation early in this ****, but the insults kept flowing. So if you didn't notice, it had stopped, but I guess you wanted to get involved, show you're superior maturity, save it brother. Until today I have never attacked anyone on here personally and I expect the same courtesy. If you think I'll take it lying down you're dead wrong. Forgive me for sticking up for myself.

Is Carl still planning on announcing soon? I thought his father said ( paraphrasing) that he didn't want to leave anybody hanging on signing day. Would love to know one way or the other. Pretty stand up of him

hes still scheduled to visit AU next weekend, so prob after that

at this point I don't know, a few weeks ago his Dad was very open about the fact that UT was the leader, he even took a trip to Knoxville to see the town and the new facility. Since then AU came on strong, Garner started his (it was not my fault GA did not offer) apology tour and Dad said AU is back in it.

Clemson has been steady on Carl and he likes them. (hobby, brooks and campus)

Last week was BIG for UT, great visit and it made Carl very conflicted on what he wants to do. I said this many times before but logic points towards UT with emotions and peer pressure pointing to others.

One thing that I like is that since UT moved into Carl's top 3, we got Jenkins and a huge visit. You can only feel good about that. The one negative thing I heard from Carl was that he was surprised how much concrete there was on campus...if that's the worst he found there we have to be in good shape.

To your question...find a way to get Payton Manning to talk to him legally. Which might be impossible.

I can tell y'all one thing, the idiots over on VQ are close to running Uzzi off because they've convinced themselves Lawson is going to Clemson. Never fails, they run off the people with actual info. Hopefully we keep getting Uzzi's updates.

Yeah, hate when people do that. As a fan living in Travis Stephens and Jalen Reeves-Maybin land I appreciate all the inside info I can get.

Landing Carl Lawson would be huge you can tell the guy is a leader and one of those guys that gets it---he'd have as much impact off the field as on IMO. I dare say one of those Al Wilson type of leaders---hopefully he chooses the Big Orange!

Do y'all remember the story about when Julio Jones was a freshman at Bama the students elected him freshman class president? That's the kind of welcome I expect the UT student body to give Lawson.
