we picked up alot of stuff at Staples today. The service was great. I picked up a fire pit for my deck on sale at Lowes. Regular 299, got it for 89. Also bought a ceramic mushroom.

Guys, I am about to build one of these for my deck. Not gonna spend the money on getting it chromed. Probably gonna get it powder coated silver unless I can find an aluminum block and polish it. Thoughts?

That is a very cool idea. I like it.

I also thought about maybe getting the block painted hugger orange like an old Chevy engine. Also could go Ford blue, I guess. Think I want the chromed look though, silver powder coat would be the closest thing to that.

Staples has some great deals from time to time. Bought a nice PC there about 2 years ago that had been $550 and got it for around $200. HP makes some great printers. I've had several that just wouldn't quit. That one is wireless, right?

I like the looks of the pic. Chrome or silver powder coat. I wouldn't paint it a different color.
