Strange that they would send the one coach that Lawson is apparently not very fond of to visit with him.

Am I wrong for hoping for an update where Garner screws up somehow and the Lawson's shut it down?

"Something happened in regard to AU and we will not be taking any more visits". "Carl will announce his school tomorrow morning at 9AM".

Hey, a guy can hope. :)

I have not seen the finished product. If anyone knows of a link that shows pictures or has a virtual tour of the finished facilitiy I would appreciate it.

:hi:

I still see him pulling a, "I'm going to keep my word to au" after the visit.. Really hope I'm wrong though.

I still think Lawson is the 5 star that we have the best shot at, though I don't think it's a done deal by any stretch. Hope we get this guy.

Except Uzzi said he decommited a month ago quietly.

I had heard that before. Are you saying he decommited as in told the AU coaches, just not the media? If so, why in the world would AU not want other possible DE recruits they are recruiting to know it? I would think it would hurt recruiting.

Having the #2 recruit in the country committed is never going to hurt recruiting.

Could be a TJ Yeldon circumstance. He silently decomitted from AU and just never told the AU staff. They found out during the quite period as he was enrolling at Alabama. Definitely not out of the normal.

I could see it hurting if your a DE and think with Lawson on board you may struggle to see the field. Depth chart comes into play alot in recruiting.

If Derrick Green was a commitment and then decommitted in quiet to just the staff and asked them to keep it quiet so the media would leave him alone, I would tell him sorry about his luck. If the spot is open, it's alot easier to recruit it.

Seems like I remember Carl preferring the smaller campus atmosphere. Does this concern anyone vs. Auburn? Never been there.
