Not always easy as a Vols fan in GA, but living in Milton/Alpharetta it's not so bad. With the way the Vols are hitting this area, hopefully this will be a pipeline for the Vols for years to come.

Just scrambling around recruiting right now. As i imagine UT's staff is.None of them are ever there when I am.

With the tidbits of info coming out concerning some quality players, VN is going to be in celebration mode or a total meltdown on NSD. It looks like this may be the best signing day in several years. GBO

"Lawson hosted Auburn assistant coach Rodney Garner for an in-school visit Thursday.

"It went well. They had a good conversation," Carl Lawson Sr. said. "We're just trying to get to know each other and we're both putting a lot of effort into it. It definitely is going well. We're getting to know him and learn about him and he's getting to know us. "Both sides are getting a feel for each other."

Lawson and his family have officially visited Clemson and Tennessee on back-to-back weekends. Of the two, Lawson Sr. said Tennessee stood out the most.

"The family was real impressed with Tennessee," he said. "The new facilities are definitely mind-boggling. Very nice."

Lawson Sr. said a final decision will likely come shortly after his visit to Auburn and before Signing Day. "We don't want to put anybody in a rough position," he said.
